We here at Merriville Ltd T/A Kilkenny Truck Centre are nearing our 30th year in business. When we started in 1989 on the Callan Road in Kilkenny, it was hard to imagine the scale to which we would grow to.
We currently employ over forty people and have expanded to two sites in Kilkenny City. This would not have been possible without the support of all our customers.

Vehicle Release Information
Vehicle Release compound is situated at Kilkenny Truck Centre, Freshford Road, Kilkenny City (Just passed St. Luke’s Hospital).
Conditions For Release of Vehicles
Owners of detained vehicles under S41 of the Road Traffic Act by An Garda Síochana must report to one of the following Garda Stations with all documentation relating to the vehicle prior to release.
Carlow Area – Carlow Garda Station.
Thomastown Area – Thomastown Garda Station.
Kilkenny Area – Kilkenny Garda Station.
Vehicles detained by the Gardaí will not be released without the Garda release form.

Fees
Detention, removal and storage for one day (or part thereof) – €125 for Light Goods Vehicles and €250 for Heavy Goods Vehicles.
Storage fee for each further day (or part thereof) – €35 for Light Goods Vehicles and €50 for Heavy Goods Vehicles.
